Welcome to my ePortfolio!
My name is Leanne Matthews and I am currently in my fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Education, specialising in primary school teaching.
As a part of this course, I am completing a subject called ‘Information and Communication Technology in the Classroom’, and that is why I am preparing this ePortfolio: my purpose is to demonstrate my learning in the area of ICT in the classroom and to build upon and improve my current ICT skills in order to positively enhance the learning experiences of my students.
In addition, pages relating to my own personal experiences in the field of education will be added and updated regularly!
Hi Leanne, I’m inspired by the use of your quote – It is so true that great teachers inspire others. I only hope to have this impression on the children I will one day teach in my own classroom. As teachers, we have chosen a truly daunting yet rewarding profession and hopefully but utilising Information Technology such as the use of this blog we are able to inspire greater numbers.

Like Karen, I love your quote. In fact I am going to type it up and laminate it so I can put it in my classroom so I never forget the difference between a mediocre teacher and a great teacher, and never forget my aspiration to be a truly great teacher.
